It's the same defective SATA disk that I discussed previously in regard to ZFS errors. I believe that ZFS is deficient in that it doesn't provide similar log messages. For test purposes I created a RAID-1 array over two partitions on the same disk. To test it I'm making a backup of one of my servers because it's the backup is a reasonable amount of data and yet another backup of the server is always a good thing. It's unfortunate that btrfs seems to offer no way of getting a count of the number of errors from the filesystem that were fixed during normal operation (as opposed to errors fixed during a scrub). I'll suggest this on the mailing list. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/
