1/ I take it that just being on mailing lists: luv-main, luv-talk is no longer a sufficient condition ?
being subscribed to luv-announce has been the de-facto criteria for years, and has been stated and accepted many times on this and other LUV lists. IANAL but IMO there's more than sufficient precedent (e.g. other AGMs over the years, and the fact that no-one has ever disputed that criteria), but the Rules really should be updated to reflect this.
3/ The line ending "..........signature of applicant..." , is asking for an actual handwritten signature ? Options then are: - to print, sign, scan and attach to an email; which I assume then goes to "luv-secretary@luv.asn.au" ? or - to print , sign and then send via snail-mail to 'some address '
i used gnupg to sign my email proxy form. this is reasonable and entirely appropriate for a computers and technology group like LUV. craig -- craig sanders <cas@taz.net.au>
