So I'm looking for a drop-in replacement, but everything currently available seems to have wireless (which I don't want) and/or I can't confirm they support bridging and Annexe-M. Why is having a feature that you don't want a problem? Can't you just turn Wifi off?
Its not a problem, I'd just prefer not to buy features I don't need if there's a good alternative.
Economy of scale means it'll probably be cheaper to get one with standard features and not use them, than to go out of your way to specially order one that doesn't have those features. While I agree with the general sentiment, in this case you're looking at, what, a difference of $10 on a $70 device? Who cares.
