Why is Thunderbird any better then evolution?
short answer: because thunderbird has always been OK-ish (in that it does what it's supposed to do without being a PITA), while evolution has never been anything but crap. even shorter: evolution annoys me, icedove doesn't.
I think Thunderbird is also dead.
could be. since it's only a secondary MUA for me, i can't say i care that much as long as it still runs if and when i need it - which is more likely to be true for thunderbird/icedove than for evolution once it stops keeping up with gnome's forced-upgrade-or-die deliberate bitrot policy. craig -- craig sanders <cas@taz.net.au>
