Thanks for the ideas everyone. I'll check if it has a PCI-e slot free when I get home tonight. It definitely has PCI slots free. I think the performance of either USB or internal would be fine, it's mainly going to be using my cable net connection. As Russell said either would be faster than my net connection. Internal has the advantage of leaving another USB port free, and I don't expect to be moving it between systems frequently. I'd expect any move it makes to be permanent. Bianca
