Thanks Rohan, its a bit of both, but driving force is professional. I have been using Linux for a while but never received any formal training. I would guess this is standard for many people. Which makes me wonder when would such training courses be used?
as a very naive user I attended a 36 hr ,12 week evening course at Swinburne ; based on FreeBSD (so a bit off- topic).One thing that struck me; was why the subject matter was not presented at least within an over-view of the boot sequence; if not in that order ?
Interesting, I didn't know Swinburne ran such courses.
