I used to remember an easier time several years back when using Madriva.Their Partition Manager was the best I have ever seen. I wonder if there is a rescue disc which could clean up this mess?
Yes, I use GParted Live: http://gparted.org/livecd.php You can also use SystemRescueCD: http://www.sysresccd.org/ Or just the rescue mode on your distro of choice. Hope that helps, Andrew
