Maybe it could just be processor then, but I was thinking it was the disk. It didn't sound particularly unhealthy to me though....
How old are the disks, and when was the last time you ran a SMART self-test on them?
1 year old disks. Don't think I've done that.
map smartctl -t short -- /dev/sd[abc] # or long watch map smartctl -l selftest -- /dev/sd[abc]
It is command not found. What to install to do this? Tried looking it up, but I'm not really familiar with this... Thanks, Dan
