Im having trouble use NAB's online bank under firefox (under debian testing), the default gnome browser works but im redirected to a website ofr mobile browsing (im on my PC). Ive had other issues with NAB so im looking to change banks.
Can anyone recommend an Australian bank that has a goon linux friendly online banking ?
I am with what used to be BHP Credit Union, now Big Sky (although that changed again this year, I think). I am with them out of inertia -- I lack the patience to deal with the paperwork and humans involved in optimizing my banking. Online banking works for me in Midori (webkit) and Firefox. It did not work in edbrowse last time I tried it. Last time I emailed them about compatibility, they responded promptly but were not interested in supporting midori because it had yet to make a stable release. I got the impression their dev team was a lowest-bidder offshore mob. Also this year they only allow "large" (>$200?) transfers if you have a mobile phone, because they introduced mandatory OTP, delivered via SMS to whatever phone was already assocated with the account. They don't provide RSA tokens.
