Landlord is OK now. So searching for ADSL/cable. Hope to find something so that it can be usable pretty soon.
At the moment on cable in Macleod I'm getting 105 Mbps download and 3.9 Mbps upload. I'm not looking forward to our impending switch to the NBN :( If I'm on the university VPN that drops to 13/3.92. Although I'm not sure you'll be required to use your university VPN to deliver lectures via Zoom...
Your cable speeds look good. Mine on the mobile broadband are a woeful 0.61 Mbps download and 0.43 Mbps upload. Pretty useless for Zoom. The university's VPN uses Cisco at present. Sometimes I can connect, it depends on how many other people are connecting. Thanks Martin, and take care. J.

As my only internet connections are: 1. is a dongle (with Vodafone) that has 3GB , and 2. my mobile phone with 60GB (also with Vodafone) I am urgently in need of a much better connection.
Any advice on what and with whom? I am in rented accommodation in Macleod, pretty much a mobile blackspot, and the landlord doesn't like the idea of cable being brought to the premises.
