I&#39;ve been going around in circles in various forums and on google chasing this.  I&#39;m running Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE) Update 4 with Cinnamon.<br>I&#39;ve installed MS Office 2010 via PlayOnLinux and now want to alter the behaviour of the desktop, nautilus and the like such that if I dbl-click a .pptx file it open will open in PowerPoint 2010.<br>
<br>The prescribed method is right-click on a file of this type in Nautlius, then go Properties -&gt; Open With -&gt; Show Other Applications and then choose the one you want.  But Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 is not an option present (nor for that matter are the other Office apps).<br>
