I've done this before for lists I'm a member of, but only after requesting that the list maintainers do it and getting no response after a few days, on the basis that it's not my list and that maybe the list maintainers have other ideas of what is acceptable. OTOH sometimes it is easier to seek forgiveness than permission :) James
