If you 'claim your are the host' (perfectly harmless; try it), Jitsi Meet asks you for a known username/password, and won't let you into the room without it. This is because Russell has (wisely) configured the server in what is called 'secure domain' mode: Only
LUV members are welcome to inspect LUV services and try to find configuration errors. If you suspect that I may have made a mistake in access control then test it out and let me know of any problems that occur. Also I'm up for discussions about the plans. While the final decisions on LUV services end up being with the committee I'm up for explaining my choices and debating their merits. I have some issues with motivation that have been exacerbated by the political situation (it's difficult to concentrate on IT work when being constantly reminded that thousands of innocent Americans are needlessly dying of Covid19). I would make better progress on LUV IT stuff if I had the committee following things up the way a project manager does in a typical IT environment. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/
