'goon'? St.George seem to have been making a concerted effort for the last few years to ensure cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility. Both the fat and mobile versions of their online banking interfaces work extremely well for me (Chrome and Firefox on Ubuntu, Chrome and stock browser on Android).
