I strongly suspect the issue is Fedora-specific - I'm running v18 here under Debian with no issues. I do not, however, install Flash on my machines. Apparently there was a problem with the first flashplayer rpm download I downloaded again from the adobe page, did the install and it works, Firefox did not hang More tests this afternoon. Ta Roger
