Incidentally, I joined LA as a result of attending LCA, so, assuming that the membership remains valid, I am indeed pleased to be counted among them.
At the LA annual general meeting in Auckland it was indicated that processing the LCA sign up is currently a manual error prone process, so just because you ticked the appropriate box isn't a guarantee that you are now a member.
