Adaptec from memory used to show stuff connected on the SCSI bus during boot (Ctrl-A perhaps);
or is " not detected at boot" just inferred ?

Hi Rohan

I have a GA-8SIMLH motherboard with an AMD processor. Normally in boot I hear the scanner initialise as the Adaptec info flashes by on the screen.

It is not mission critical, just nice to know, but a reboot means two whiskeys ........
