I had an SD card that I permanently broke by putting it in the wrong slot of a multislot USB reader! I just got lots of messages about the device not responding to requests. Just tried it now with a Wheezy (3.2) kernel and it isn't even seen. Also I would suggest for a camera (or camera phone) you get a high class (10+?) rated u-SD otherwise saving pictures can be annoying slow (at least a few years ago - almost unbearably). I got my last one from officeworks, purely because they were just down the road. I probably paid about 20% extra compared to MSY, but that's still only $5, so who gives a toss?
