With quiet and splash removed, these tell me that local-premount, local-bottom, and init-bottom executed and completed from /scripts directory. Then nothing.
There's a problem with watching boot messages on recent Ubuntu releases: What you expect to be reported, isn't. Rather odd attitudes seem to be at the root of this. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plymouth/+bug/665789 -- Cheers, "Transported to a surreal landscape, a young girl kills the first Rick Moen woman she meets, and then teams up with three complete strangers rick@linuxmafia.com to kill again." -- Rick Polito's That TV Guy column, McQ!
