And there are some duplicates running around. Shouldn't be, but I have seen duplicate MAC addresses in the real world. It was only through detailed troubleshooting of some weird network issues that I discovered this. :)
Happens more commonly now when virtual machines are incorrectly cloned, and yeah it's really strange the first time you see it. looking through the arpwatch logs lets you know what's going on pretty quickly though. James
