I participate in Jitsi Meet videoconferences on a Devuan Project server just about every week, and it works consistently very well indeed -- bearing in mind that the requirement don't include much as to security, and the Jitsi project doesn't promise much.
Although in theory any modern Web browser able to support WebRTC would suffice, I always recommend Chromium. People trying to use, e.g., Firefox are more likely to have problems. (I suppose one could equally pick Google Chrome, but why use a proprietary variant of Chromium when you could use Chromium?)
Definitely not a support of Google Chrome, but it will likely get security patches more quickly than Chromium. I use a number of browsers for different reasons, and usually NEVER Google Chrome. Cheers A.
