Just wondering if anyone has attended Redhat Certified System Administrator training in Melbourne and would recommend it?
I ran the RHCSA and RHCE exams and used to teach multiple courses across Europe for Red Hat UK when I lived there. It's a solid test of your ability on a Red Hat (CentOS) system. The exams are very Red Hat specific but many generic linux System Admin skills are tested as well. It's also a challenging exam; you must be confident in you skills before you do the exam. I saw many talented candidates fail under the time pressures of the exam. The courses are great for pulling your focus onto what may be tested but ASFAIK you can just do the exam part (at least you used to be able to in Europe). If cost is no issue, then I would recommend it. Especially if your focus is mainly on RHEL or CentOS. -- Tom Robinson 19 Thomas Road Mobile: +61 4 3268 7026 Healesville, VIC 3777 Home: +61 3 5962 4543 Australia GPG Key: 8A4CB7A7 CONFIDENTIALITY: Copyright (C).
