That's an excellent price for a 256GB SSD. We can expect prices and capacity to improve further in coming years. Does Linux still require edits to /etc/fstab to support Trim and other SSD optimizations, or is it all done by default now? A further development of note is the move to SSDs attached directly to the PCI-Express bus, with no drive controller required.
