I am making another start at learning Perl, and I am looking at installing the -doc module. I do have cpan to do the install, but trying to sort out exactly what the -doc package should be called for the install with cpan.
And with Debian, there is a deb which has the documentation, rather than being a cpan module that I had thought it would be.
Having the correct argument for cpan would help, but I am also wanting to understand what I need to look for in sorting out the naming conventions for the modules, and how to look up such.
I am still interested in some feedback about the modules on cpan and how to search and look up what is there. I shall dig around, but some pointers will help me get started. Regards Mark Trickett
