A client has a need for someone to edit movies on Macs who also has some Linux shell skills. The source data for the movies is on a Samba share and is generated on Linux systems. While Mac video editing is the main skillset being able to inveatigate issues on the Linux side is also necessary. NB There is no official position available yet. If I give my client the CV of someone suitable for the job they may decide to hire someone. An applicant who can start as a part time worker (maybe 1 or 2 days a week) would be preferred.
