Digital Business Analyst with Squiz Sydney

Our Sydney team is now on the search for our first ever Digital Business Analyst. We are looking for clear thinkers that are able to help customers to get to the heart of their digital challenge through listening, probing questions and analytical thinking.

Here are a few more of the responsibilities you would have in this role:

• Identify business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, user cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task & workflow analysis.
• Work independently with users to define concepts
• Proactively collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse project needs and deliver the following artefacts as needed:
• Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document)
• User Cases
• GUI
• Screen and Interface designs
• Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
• Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.

What we’re looking for is:

• 5+ years’ experience in the Digital Industry.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Psychology or Business Studies.
• Ability to critically analyse information from research activities and source and evaluate qualitative or quantitative data.
• Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
