Hello, I am would like to know what the best accounting software is for a business that has to deal with GST.Or at least some of the best ones.I don't mind paying for it if it's worth it.I am using GNU cash at the moment but wonder if there is something better.Also I need something very easy to understand as I have not studied accounting.I would prefer to hear from people that have actually used the software for a business for a number of years.Thanks.Sorry I won't give out more details about what I am doing for privacy reasons.
I use Frontaccounting for my business. It is GST compliant, Opensource, has quite a few Australian users and good community support. It runs on my ownserver and is relatively easy to set up. http://www.frontaccounting.com I looked at all the options before choosing this and have been happy with my choice. The only downside is that I would have loved it to be integrated with VTiger, but you can't have everything I guess :-) Cheers Bob
