LUV-meta and Meeting Reminder

Linux Users of Victoria has established a LUV-meta mailing list to discuss all matters relating to LUV as an organisation, in terms of its structure, legal status, affiliations, and activities. The establishment of the mailing list is a result of the debate of disincorporation that occurred prior to the last Annual General Meeting and the recognition for the need for such a list, as the debates were not directly related to Linux (luv-main), but were too specific to be appropriate to the catch-all discussion list (luv-talk). All members of the committee and regional representatives are members of luv-meta by default. Any member of LUV may join by visiting the following URL: http://lists.luv.asn.au/listinfo/luv-meta A reminder is also given for our luv-main meeting tonight with the Simon Elisha from Amazon Cloud Services speaking on "AWS - An Overview and Useful things for Linux Users" and Jan Whitaker, "Privacy in the age of pervasive surveillance". The meeting will begin at 19:00 (7pm) at the Buzzard Lecture Theatre.
