OpenShot - Alex Garber OpenShot Video Editor is an open-source, video editing software package for Linux, built with Python, GTK, and the MLT Framework. The project was started in August 2008 by Jonathan Thomas, with the objective to provide a stable, free, and friendly to use video editor. Alex will provide an overview to OpenShot, its development and a few tricks! *General Workshop Area: At the LUV Beginner's workshop you can come along and work with Linux enthusiasts to assist you in setting up your system the way you want. This could include friendly advice on partitions, distributions, configurations, networking and specific applications. Bring your laptop!
