
Linux Users Victoria will be holding a mini-conference, install-fest and establishing yet another new regional chapter on Saturday September 29 in Shepparton! The event will be held at 23 Alexandra St Mooroopna, a community house facility (http://www.mcginc.com.au) starting at 11am. We already have a small number of speakers on some basic features of Linux and the Free Software movement (one on "Moving to Free Software" and one on "Office Applications". Others are welcome so please nominate yourself for a brief presentation! A free lunch will also be provided. Presented by Linux Users Victoria in partnership with the Mooroopna Education & Activity Centre's Ripple Effect Project this free event will be informative and allow for Questions.
