We don't normally have a Beginners Meeting in January, but we've had an offer from an interstate presenter who wanted to practice his tutorial before presenting it again at the Linux Conference.  Therefore we're delighted to be able to offer a bonus meeting which will make a great follow up to our last Beginners Meeting in November on nmap:

Most of the tutorial will be done on the command line without a GUI.

Sergey is a full-type Linux sysadmin currently working in the Onegov of NSW Government. In the past he managed largest Australian Websites at News Limited, consulted big enterprises through Ecetera and Babel Consulting, and taught Red Hat Linux courses in Netherlands, London and Sweden. Sergey is a Red Hat Certified Architect.

There will also be the usual casual hands-on workshop, Linux installation, configuration and assistance and advice. Bring your laptop if you need help with a particular issue.
