Dear LUV-members, The time has come for a generous person or organisation to donate a server to Linux Users of Victoria. It doesn't have to be brand new; a few year's old is fine. As long as it's rack mountable (1RU or 2RU) and comes with rack mounting rails, that has 4 GB of RAM, 2*120 GB disks, and 64 bit CPU(s). Of course, if you can provide better than that, that's really good too. As you can imagine, LUV will be deeply appreciative of any company or individual who makes such a donate. Assuming they are not deeply embarrassed by such recognition we will sing their praises on our mailouts, on our website, & etc. Not only this, you will also be providing a benefit for Wikimedia Australia, who also share space on our system.
