---------------------------------------------------------- Saturday 18 February, 12 noon at The Unitarian Church Hall 110 Grey Street, East Melbourne ---------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: NEW VENUE After many years of operating from The Hub, a significant change in their prices has meant that LUV has had to move. The next LUV Beginner's Workshop and Tutorial and the OLPC Corner will be on the 17th of December. This month, Andrew Pam will be giving a workshop on Linux games. The tutorial will start one hour into the workshop, at 1pm. At the LUV Beginner's workshop you can come along and work with Linux enthusiasts to assist you in setting up your system the way you want. This could include friendly advice on partitions, distributions, configurations, networking and specific applications. Bring your laptop! The Melbourne OLPC Club meetings are co-located with the Beginner's Workshops. If you are interested in the OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) project, please come and join in! The Drupal Melbourne meetings are also co-located with the Beginner's Workshops, taking place in the Conference Room.
