Looking for spare computer parts or free computers to experiment with? Something you can play with and nobody cares if it breaks? Come to the LUV beginners meetings every month at Infoxchange. We currently have hard drives up to 7200RPM 1TB SATA, DDR3 RAM (a couple of 2x2GB kits), several older Nvidia video cards, an entire late-90s desktop system complete with laser printer, SCSI scanner and gaming joystick, a low-power fanless VIA C3 system, a dual-PSU HP Proliant server, a large collection of cases, power supplies and motherboards (some with CPUs), some keyboards and mice, and a few older screens and laptops in unknown condition, plus more in Russell Coker's collection. Please feel free to ask if you need anything, or come and scavenge. If you don't know how to assemble or replace hardware, let us know and we could run a workshop on refurbishing older hardware to run Linux! Hope to see you there tomorrow or in the future! https://luv.asn.au/2017/08/26 Cheers, Andrew
